Tulloch Reservoir Closure
Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Prevention Efforts Update - March 20, 2025
Following our recent board meeting, Tri-Dam is providing an update on our ongoing efforts to protect the reservoir and implement a banding prevention plan.
Key updates:
- The board has adopted Resolution 2025-05 for the Aquatic Invasive Species Program, including the policy and procedures.
- The proposed Waiver, Release, and Indemnity Agreement was not approved as presented. We will be working with stakeholders to revise and finalize a unified agreement.
Once all stakeholders reach a unified agreement, it will not require additional board approval.
What this means moving forward:
- The reservoir remains closed until a single agreement is finalized and signed by all parties.
- Banding implementation cannot begin until this unified agreement is in place—there will be no separate agreements for different sites.
