Banding Locations
Pariticapting Approved Banding Location on Tulloch Reservoir
*Please Note: All vessel launching on Tulloch Reservoir must occur exclusively through designated launch sites authorized under the AIS Prevention Program. In alignment with Tri-Dam's AIS protocols, launching from private properties or any unauthorized locations is strictly prohibited.
To maintain program integrity and ensure compliance:
- All vessel banding and inspections must be performed only by entities formally approved and authorized by Tri-Dam.
- Approved locations are listed below.
To ensure your vessel is properly recorded and eligible for launch:
- You should receive a text or digital receipt confirming that your band has been entered into the Watercraft Inspection and Decontamination (WID) database.
- This verification is required to maintain program records and protect the reservoir.
These launch locations are approved, but access is limited to members of the associated HOA or entity. They are not open to the general public:
- Black Jack Bluff HOA
- Calypso Bay HOA
- Conner Estates HOA
- Copper Cove HOA
- Lake Tulloch Shores / Poker Flat HOA
- Peninsula Estates HOA
Tri-Dam is actively working with our Counties to work on additional access as we understand there is currently no public access to Tulloch. While outreach was made to all local partners and private marinas, not all have opted to participate in the AIS Program. As a result, public access through non-participating marinas or businesses will not be permitted under the current program guidelines.
If you have questions regarding the South Shore Campground, please contact Tuolumne County directly, as they are responsible for managing public access to that area.
Thank you for helping protect Tulloch Reservoir from aquatic invasive species.
